Summary: I cannot say enough great things about this lens! Although I have not used the Nikon version of the 24-70mm, I am extremely pleased that I decided to purchase the Sigma 24-70mm. Before buying, I read plenty of reviews and tons of online information about the similarities and differences between the Nikon and the Sigma, and that made the choice very easy.
Summary: This item was listed as like new and it was exactly that! With the exception of not coming in the original box you couldn't tell this wasn't a brand new item. I absolutely love this lens! Its sharp and fast. I haven't used it for a shoot yet because I have only had it for a day. After playing with it I cant tell this is going to be one of new favorites. I emailed the seller and they responded back promptly. I was very impressed with the customer service.
Summary: This has become my all-around lens, specially for indoor events with low light. The quality of the images is great, and the f/2.8 aperture helps a lot to get a great depth of field event in low light environments.
Summary: I love this lens. I have been shooting with this lens since I got in in the mail two weeks. It came on time. The package was very protected bubble wrap and cardboard around. The bokeh effect on this lens is great too. It work fine with my Nikon D3200. The only downside to the lens is that it is heavy. It is a good price if you are looking for a good cheap wide angle lens to start off with. The focus is great. The wide angle is great too.
Sigma has once again made a great lens. They used to be an off brand

Summary: Sigma has once again made a great lens. They used to be an off brand, but they have seriously stepped up their game. This lens shoots just as well as the Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8, with a slightly slower focus speed. Great price, and a ridiculously versatile lens. For the money, you can't beat it. Buy.
