Summary: Works well with my Sigma 150mm-500mm lens. However, it is very limiting with other Sigma lenses. It will only work with a few of the Sigma lenses. Do not do what I did thinking it would be able to be used with all of my Sigma lenses.
Summary: Nicely done again Sigma! It's compact and light which is good because when attached to my pretty heavy 70-200mm f/2.8...it.could have led to shoulder surgery! But it won't. Good range...quality build. Very happy.
Summary: This 2X lens did not perform well. I am not sure if the problem was the design or manufacture of the lens but I could not get a sharp photo when attached to my 150 to 500 zoom. I tried another 2X that I have had for a while on the same lens and the results were much better.
Excerpt: I was hesitant to purchase this teleconverter to use with my Sigma 50-150 telephoto lens for my Nikon D7000 because of all the comments and answers to my question "if it was compatible with my lens and camera." I contacted Sigma and they said it would work with no problems.
Pros: Consistent Output, Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus
Bought it, used it often, still using it...would buy it again.

Summary: Love it, although not sure if it's worth the cost yet. Time will tell. Bought the Sigma 150-500 at the same time....attach said teleconverter...1000mm lens in hand. GOOD TRIPOD A MUST when trying this out. but wow...zoom for days.
