Excerpt: I have been using this teleconverter with the Sigma 50-150mm f/2.8 EX DC OS HSM APO Lens for Canon. With my EOS 7D, I am getting 480mm @ f/5.6 and the camera body is well informed of this new setting. Great gear! I am quite willing to recommend it to anybody.
Excerpt: Through my own boneheaded fault, I ordered this TC which does not fit my camera. After returning the TC, a full credit of my purchase price was issued, no hassles. Everything in life ought to be this easy. Just wanted to add this comment in praise of Adorama.
Excerpt: I have used it with a f2.8 70 to 200 mm Sigma lens to shoot softball games, wild life or birds. On a clear or even a cloudy day I have been able to get some excellent photos. At times using an aperture of f5.6 and 1/250 for action or higher depending on the situation. As I experiment with the converter and lens set up I can add more to the review.
Pros: Consistent Output, Easily Interchangeable, Gets Good Clear Pictures, Lightweight, Strong Construction
Excerpt: I use a Canon 7D with the Sigma 70-200 f2.8 lens and a Sigma 1.4X tele-converter and love it. It is almost always razor sharp and so I thought that the 2.0X tele-converter would also be very sharp. I was very disappointed with it. I knew it would change the f2.8 to f5.6, but I was not prepared for the degradation in auto-focus accuracy.
Excerpt: I got this to pair up with my sigma 70-200 2.8 and have been shooting sports, and wildlife with it. It seems to work well. the only problem if encountered is that the mount to the lens comes loose after a while , you just have to click it back in so it's no big deal.
Excerpt: I shoot wildlife from a boat so I need lots of reach an with this Sigma 2x EX APO teleconverter on my Nikon D7100 and the Sigma 150-500mm lens I can get it, will be getting the 50-150mm 2.8 to go with it also.

It communicates with the camera as intended, no problems with exposure or shooting.
