Great wide angle lens to add to your kit

itspoots, Amazon
8 December 2015
  • Summary: Fantastic wide angle prime lens for the money. There are other wide angles for around the same price (some from Sony) but overall this lens from Sigma has much better IQ, both center and in the corners. There is still some vignetting and distortion, but can be corrected for in post (Lightroom).

  • Excerpt: The Sigma Art DN lenses are some of the best value lenses for the Sony e-mount. I have all 3 and they outperform everything else I have. And independent testing verifies that. And you can't beat the price. All 3 lenses work perfectly with my a6000.
  • Pros: Consistent Output, Durable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Lightweight, Nice Bokeh
