  • Excerpt: Bought primarily to use for night shots and it certainly does the trick. Great low light capabilities when paired with the a6000 and great bokeh for wide open day shots. Very happy with this lens!

  • Summary: Works fine. Images are very sharp. I haven't compared it to Zeiss glass, but if you want to go wide, this is a good place to start.

User Review

rainrunner, Adorama
12 March 2015
  • Excerpt: This lens was very sharp and easy to focus compared to the 16-50 kit lens for my Sony NEX5-T. The only drawback is it tends to show a lens flare when shooting a bright light like the sun or a bright moon.
