Excerpt: I'm a beginner/amateur photographer mostly taking photos of my children, family, and places we travel to. I purchased the silver lens and it did scratch on the first day with only minimal use.
Pros: Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus
Summary: Great little lens, very inexpensive and works superbly! If it doesnt work, or if your camera is prompting you "to fix lens", make sure you have enabled your camera to take photos without a lens attached. After that, it works great! Spend the money and you wont regret it.
Excerpt: Primary use- landscape Uses- Sony a6000 camera Great depth of field, focuses quickly, sharp images, and love the size. I will be buying the 60mm version soon. I own and recommend the 30mm and the 19mm.
Pros: Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Lightweight
Summary: Fantastic wide angle prime lens for the money. There are other wide angles for around the same price (some from Sony) but overall this lens from Sigma has much better IQ, both center and in the corners. There is still some vignetting and distortion, but can be corrected for in post (Lightroom).
Excerpt: Have had this lens and the sony a6000 for about two weeks now. I also bought the sony 35mm 1.8 but find myself still using this lens more. A little wide for general street photography, but great sharp fast little lens!
Pros: Consistent Output, Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Lightweight
Summary: Impressed with this lens. Sharp, with great color rendition. Very light weight - perfect for Sony A6000. Purchased for Landscape photography with A6000. Will travel with me and camera during business trips for photo opportunities.
Excerpt: I bought this lens with high expectations , based in other reviews. Truth to be told. Except for the extra aperture they are not significately better than the sony 16-50 kits lens. So, whats the point of replacing? If you bought only the body of sony cam, thats a different history.
