Sigma 19mm f2.8 is worth EVERY penny!

Andy B, B&H Photo

  • Excerpt: I purchased this lens to use with the Sony a6000 and am not disappointed. The lens takes crisp, sharp photos, with excellent color reproduction and is easy to use in manual or automatic mode. After reading positive reviews, I will be going for the Sigma 30mm f2.8 next. Then on to the Sigma 60mm f2.8 after that. If you want an inexpensive, quality lens to compliment your Sony camera, you can't go wrong with this choice.
  • Pros: Easily Interchangeable, Lightweight, Nice Bokeh, Sharp Focus

Kristiano, Amazon

  • Summary: I am a wedding photographer and have always been of the "Nikon Only" thought process. I recently bought the a6000 and paired it with this beautifully crafted lens... it is stellar I can't wait to use it on some upcoming shoots.

Best Lens To Leave On Your A6000 (so far)

Aurora Danes, Amazon
18 December 2014
  • Summary: I am a huge fan of the 28mm (This lens equals 28mm in 35mm format) lens and since I started focusing on Street Photography it is rare that I use anything else. Looking at the choices Sony offered there is not much to get excited about so I finally decided to try this lens out even though reviews stated it was soft and it being only 2.8. The lightness and size makes this lens a joy to have on the a6000.

Works Great on my Sony A6000

Kerby, B&H Photo
22 November 2014
  • Excerpt: Got this lens to use as a medium wide angle for my new Sony A6000 (also from BH). It is light weight and easy to carry as an extra lens or mounted on the camera. I can also use it on my a7/a7r with the aps C size selected from their menu.

Another great E-Mount Lens

Chuck in Albuquerque, B&H Photo
9 November 2014
  • Excerpt: Great Lens. Sharp. Crisp. Contrasty. Colorful. The three Sigma primes for the E-mount, while not having OIS, are the three best performing lenses I have for my A6000. Only the Zeiss Touit lenses can match them them for sharpness and color. My bar has always been Zeiss. I've owned several Zeiss lenses. These little jewels are up there with the Zeiss primes in terms of quality imaging and they bring out the true capabilities of the 24mp APS-C sensor in the A6000.
  • Pros: Colorful, Consistent Output, Contrasty, Crisp and sharp, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Lightweight, Made In Japan Not China, Nice Bokeh
  • Cons: Lacks Ois, Not The Best Indoors Ll

Nice hood and case

Stephen R. Berry, Amazon
18 October 2014
  • Summary: Unbelievable value for money. Metal construction with a metal mount. Nice hood and case. Optically excellent - sharp and good color rendition across the frame. No problems with the smooth metal focusing ring - very smooth and nice action. Can't really say enough nice things about this lens. Highly recommended. I use it on an a6000.
