Excerpt: At 2.8 it is the best ultra-wide angle lens for the money. Nikon lens is $300 more, but this Sigma does the job. Very sharp and no vignetting on a Fx camera. Great for landscape photography and creative indoor situations where an all-inclusive group shot in a tight area is needed. Love it!
Excerpt: I compared this lens in store with the Rokinon 12mm and the improved clarity showed up in the viewfinder.
This lens is perfect in tight corners and getting an entire streetscape. Also good for unusual perspective effects.
Excerpt: I enjoy the look of a fisheye periodically but wasn't sure I wanted to pay the added cost of the nikon 16mm fisheye, especially as old as the design is. I don't normally use third party lenses but am quite pleased with this sigma fisheye. It is quite sharp and focuses accurately and quickly.
Summary: Was looking for Fisheye lens with auto focus. Had manual one before and had a lot of issues forgetting to change settings before every shot. This lens is the one I was looking for. Pictures have good colors. Love the lens. Check pictures attached.
