Amazing lens, better than the Nikon version

Dallas Dude, Amazon
29 April 2014
  • Summary: This is now my favorite lens in my arsenal. It focuses at incredible speed on my D800 and the images are just stunning. I usually prefer Nikon version lenses, however the current Nikon is dated and Sigma has really raised the bar. I would highly encourage trying this lens out.

This is my second one.

C.J., Amazon

  • Summary: Like the camera that was destroyed when the housing opened under water, my first Fisheye was also ruined. A replacement was necessary and this one was perfect the first time.

Great little niche lens

Gerald Fagan, Amazon
18 April 2014
  • Summary: I love how wide this lens is, I can stretch my arm to my wide and see my hand in the frame. And having auto focus is awesome for those low angle shots that dont allow you to look through the viewfinder.

  • Summary: Use with my 60D and it has been great. Just have to be careful on where you focus and to make sure you pay attention to how wide the FOV is.

Better than I expected

Shutterbug from RPV, Adorama
4 March 2014
  • Excerpt: Traded a bunch of rarely used lenses for this Fisheye. Have Canon 24-70 f/2.8 L and 70-200 f/2.8 II L, considered Canon 16-35, but too much overlap. The image quality is fantastic. I can't really imagine much better results with any lens ... At a reasonable cost.
  • Pros: Great image quality, Lightweight
  • Cons: None to date

Solid build, great lens

Phillip Rippenclipple, Amazon
13 February 2014
  • Summary: This lens sells for considerably less than the similar Canon lens. I usually don't buy brands other than Canon. But the build quality and image quality is comparable. AF is fast and accurate on my Canon 5D MkIII. Sharp, especially when stopped down. I find myself using this lens more often than I anticipated. And after 2+ years, it's still a favorite in my gear bag.

I purchased this as a gift for my wife

Mike Pierce, Amazon
7 January 2014
  • Summary: She loved it, used it as her primary lens on our adventures during our stay up in the North Georgia mountains over the Christmas holidays 2013. I am relating my perception of her view using the lens. She photographed some incredible panoramic shots from the highest mountain in Georgia. She told me several times how much she like the shots that she was getting; star bursts were incredible.
