Amazing lens, better than the Nikon version

Summary: This is now my favorite lens in my arsenal. It focuses at incredible speed on my D800 and the images are just stunning. I usually prefer Nikon version lenses, however the current Nikon is dated and Sigma has really raised the bar. I would highly encourage trying this lens out.
Summary: I love how wide this lens is, I can stretch my arm to my wide and see my hand in the frame. And having auto focus is awesome for those low angle shots that dont allow you to look through the viewfinder.
Summary: Flawless lens. Amazing. Too good picture quality and nice distortion for full frame cameras. If someone wants the lens as an architectural did not do. This lens is for stunning photos with beautiful distortion. In highly recommend.
Excerpt: Traded a bunch of rarely used lenses for this Fisheye. Have Canon 24-70 f/2.8 L and 70-200 f/2.8 II L, considered Canon 16-35, but too much overlap. The image quality is fantastic. I can't really imagine much better results with any lens ... At a reasonable cost.
Summary: This lens sells for considerably less than the similar Canon lens. I usually don't buy brands other than Canon. But the build quality and image quality is comparable. AF is fast and accurate on my Canon 5D MkIII. Sharp, especially when stopped down. I find myself using this lens more often than I anticipated. And after 2+ years, it's still a favorite in my gear bag.
Summary: She loved it, used it as her primary lens on our adventures during our stay up in the North Georgia mountains over the Christmas holidays 2013. I am relating my perception of her view using the lens. She photographed some incredible panoramic shots from the highest mountain in Georgia. She told me several times how much she like the shots that she was getting; star bursts were incredible.
