Excerpt: Got this lens to use with Pentax K01. The lens looks and feels expensive. At f4, the sharpness is not usable (You won't carry a DSLR for that kind of image). I think the sharpness is best at between f5.6 and f8. Even at that range, I still find it too soft for landscape photo.
Summary: I took 2 pictures With my existing Sony 16-50 f/2.8 and the New 10-20 f/3.5 I took 2 pictures at 16mm from same place and same settings The Sony f/2.8 lens results is signifuicantly better than the Sigma (its not that the Sigma was distortated or bad ir was just not as great as the Sony) Personally,...
Excerpt: I was shooting at sun rise and 20% of my images have green flare. I can't say another lens would do better, but I won't buy another Sigma lens. Please find some place to try this lens before you buy.
Summary: This lens is very sharp, as advertised. There is some softness in the lower corners at 10mm, even when stopped down. I was surprised to find that my copy was about 1/2 stop darker than my Nikon 12-24mm.

Pros: Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Good up close, Rugged

Pros: Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Strong Construction
Summary: Pro: costruzione, paraluce incluso Contro: nitidezza ai bordi pessima, ghiera messa a fuoco dura, aberrazioni cromatiche Il mio esemplare aveva dei problemi di allineamento delle lenti.Comprato a Dicembre 2012, l'ho mandato in assistenza a Marzo perchè su 10 foto che facevo ne dovevo buttare 11!
