Results are OK but not more than that

Dan Glotter, Amazon
14 February 2013
  • Summary: I took 2 pictures With my existing Sony 16-50 f/2.8 and the New 10-20 f/3.5 I took 2 pictures at 16mm from same place and same settings The Sony f/2.8 lens results is signifuicantly better than the Sigma (its not that the Sigma was distortated or bad ir was just not as great as the Sony) Personally, I should have spent my money on another better lens

Very good lens except a major issue

Vikas, Amazon
7 April 2012
  • Summary: to begin with; i started photography about a year back would still consider myself as a amateur photographer, but to see the issue with this lens a person should just have a good eyesight.... The lens I received had no focus issues as other have had and pictures comes out really good except that every single shot I took with this lens has small wave of circle at the center and i took several shots over 7 days of aurora borealis and every single photo has this issue...

Watch out for that yellow color cast

amazon customer, Amazon
16 June 2010
  • Summary: This lens is very sharp, as advertised. There is some softness in the lower corners at 10mm, even when stopped down. I was surprised to find that my copy was about 1/2 stop darker than my Nikon 12-24mm. I own several Nikon lenses, and this Sigma would have been the only one requiring exposure compensation different than the others. There was also an unacceptable yellow color cast.

Let down by poor QC

Mike, WEX
15 June 2012
  • Summary: I've owned this lens since it was first launched as an upgrade to the f/4-5.6 version a few years ago. As I shot a lot of sports and low light at the time I didn't fancy the slower version so waited for this. I've used it for landscapes, architecture, industrial work and even on occasions like weddings for venue shots for shooting large groups in small venues.
  • Pros: Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Good up close, Rugged
  • Cons: Blurry Focus, Expensive 82mm filters, Lens Creep, Slow Focus, Terrible quality glass

Had expected much better from Sigma

JM, WEX
5 April 2012
  • Summary: Bought this lens for landscape and unusual angle shots but I have found that it struggles to obtain sharp focus even after much "hunting".Have had to use manual focus/hyperfocal setting stopped down, which is frustrating as even then the lens isn't as sharp as all that, my Nikon kit zoom 18-55 is far superior.
  • Pros: Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Strong Construction
  • Cons: Blurry Focus, Slow Focus

An meiner Nikon D7000 recht nervös

Highlander, Amazon
23 September 2014

Antoine R., Amazon
17 August 2014
  • Summary: Fabrication de bonne facture, finition aussi.

peter "peter", Amazon
5 March 2014
  • Summary: Ich habe die beiden Objektive Sigma 10-20 mm F3,5 EX DC HSM und das Sigma 10-20 mm F4,0-5,6 EX DC HSM im Vergleich getestet.
