Excerpt: I decided to go with this lens because it offers a lot for the money. It completes my current setup of 16-50mm f3.5-5.6 and 45mm f1.8 lens from Samsung. I use it mainly when I shoot distant objects or when I need to keep a bigger distance from my subject. I like the bokeh I get at 200mm.
Excerpt: Although optically excellent, I am finding the OIS to be very ineffective in video mode when paired with my NX1. For some reason the OIS shifts its effectiveness as soon as you put it in video mode. There is a dramatic reduction in the stabilization.
Excerpt: I have only used this lens a few times since I bought it a couple weeks ago (and still have to experiment with the manual settings), but I have been thrilled with my results so far. I've been wanting a lens with a lot more zoom capabilities than my kit lens and this seems to fit my needs.
Pros: Easy To Use, Highly Compatible, Improves Performance, Professional Quality
Summary: Like I did with my review for the NX30, let me prefix this by stating that by no way am I a "photographer". I literally purchased a camera with having no photography background to see if this is a hobby I'd like to pick up so my experience is solely from a non-technical/new user experience.
From here to there. These are the lens that I have. Both are 111.
