Excerpt: other than the basic zoom, this is probably the one to get. Nice and sharp, compact and not so wide as to distort perspective.

One small beef- would be nice if the accessory bag was a little bit bigger so that the "standard" lens would fit in it more comfortably.
Pros: Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Lightweight
Excerpt: Excellent easy to use great wide angle photos. The
i function on the lens is a great feature. Samsung is far ahead of the other major brands for being a new player in this market. My camera is the NX-300.
I was a long time Sony only user and after a lot of research I'm glad to have switched to Samsung.
Pros: Consistent Output, Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Lightweight, Nice Bokeh, Rugged, Strong Construction
Summary: At this time, Samsung is the world leader in electronics and that includes cameras. This lens alone sets Samsung in a special place. And with the large view screen to see your shots, it is just awesome.
Excerpt: I bought this prior to a trip to Alaska to round out my set of 3 (this, stock, and telephoto) lenses for my NX1000 and it was perfect. The angle of view over the stock lens is well worth it and it performed excellent indoors in some low light conditions. It's just as useful indoors to capture more of the scene as it is outdoors.
Good field of view and overall excellent quality - a superb lens!

Summary: OK, so this lens has some mild vignetting, some softness in corners when wide open (but cured by stopping down to f4), and so on. Compared to the 20mm and the 30mm, it is generally the lowest rated overall of the three (though it seems to be moving up the ranks lately). But...it has something they don't -- a very wide field of view!
