Another underappreciated lens from Samsung. No image stabilizer.

Summary: Pro: Wicked sharp. Just a little smaller than competing 85mm f1.4. Seems well built. Excellent value. Cons: unbalanced with tiny NX camera. Lacking Image Stability feature. This category of lens has just a singular purpose: Portraiture. Beware that f1.4 means razor thin DOF and it is easily blurred and/or out-of-focus so I would say it is a difficult lens to use as the quality of the shot has a lot to do with your technique (but this is a common issue accross all 85/1.4...
Summary: This is my favorite lens for any camera I've ever owned. The depth of field is simply amazing and it takes excellent photos even in very poor light. With the combination of long focal length (130mm film equivalent) and aperture (f/1.4), it can create some absolutely stunning portraits. It's the second most expensive lens currently for the Samsung NX mount, but for the quality and features it's an absolute bargain. This lens is HUGE.
Excerpt: I have had my eye on this lens for a long time and ive seen a couple videos when I was thinking of purchasing it and I loved it. This lens was way more breath taking in person that watching video reviews I completely recommend this to any photographer who loves to take portraits
Summary: This lens is amazing. It is super clear and I love the FN functions on the lens. It does have some trouble focusing quickly on occasion if your focus is drastically different than the previous focus plane was. I found that if I focus something obvious near by in a close range to my final subject by touching the screen it will focus much quicker on my final (more intricate) subject.
Excerpt: I was hesitant to get this lens simply because I am new to photography and was worried I'd have a hard time using it. Samsung takes the guess work out of this lens by offering excellent iFunction utility and quick and seamless auto-focus. I love taking photos with this lens and exploring it's nuances. A+ in my book, adds a certain level of professionalism to my photos, right out of the box.
Excerpt: First of all I want to say I was a long time user of SONY only cameras and lens. I made the decision to switch to SAMSUNG after much research.1.Samsung is far ahead of the rest with their wi-fi capabilities and the cameras ability to communicate with all other devices.2.Samsung also has the many choices of lenses that the others don't!
Summary: I got my Viewfinder, I could shot manually adjustment photos now. I did research. This is the one that so many people rav about. I broke down and bought it. It is Samsung NX Prime lenses series. It cost more than my camera and two lenses combinded. But it worked very well with close range shooting because of large Aperture. It is heavy. I don't have traditional similar class lenses. I can not do the comparison.
