Summary: If you love bokeh, this lens simply creates a very pleasing milky background behind your subject just as nice as the much more expensive Canon's and Nikon's 85mm wide aperture lenses. Like with competitors': - It's a giant lens.
Excerpt: Samsung lists it at $, but most retailers have it for $ or less. I picked it up for $. That may sound steep, but compared to offerings from other brands that is quite reasonable. I had Nikon recently and their brand offering is twice this amount and even the after market versions are hundreds more.
Pros: Consistent Output, Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Nice Bokeh, Rugged, Strong Construction
Excerpt: Optically, this lens is perfect. I shoot live rock images professionally with a digital SLR as well as my Samsung NX series ILC. For shows where I want to capture a show without the hassle of lugging around a large camera is when the Samsung plays a primary role.
Pros: Consistent Output, Easily Interchangeable, Strong Construction
Excerpt: I have been eyeing this lens for almost 8 months now and cannot believe I waited this long to get it. The shallow depth is awesome and I absolutely love it. I have this on a NX300 camera and the results are perfect. I highly recommend this lens.
Pros: Consistent Output, Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Strong Construction
