Great low light and good portrait lens

Woodrow, Amazon
21 March 2015
  • Summary: This is a great fast lens for the Samsung NX cameras. It is a full frame equivalent of 67mm f2.7 (on a apsc size crop sensor camera you get the 35mm equivalent by 1.5) it allows you to blur the background for portraits and shoot in low light without flash. It is also very sharp. Great lens. You can see some sample portraits on my Instagram page at Bujawoodphotos. The model is Elizabeth.

  • Summary: Very easy to get used to. Auto focus is good, but using the manual focus ring is more precise and often times its actually quicker.

  • Summary: Great lens. Took engagement photos with it and they turned out well. Be aware that 45mm does make it a little difficult to use indoors. I find myself using the 30mm pancake much more often with the NX300. I don't use this lens a ton, so hope I can use it more to get my moneys worth in the end. Winter in Phoenix should provide more opportunities to go outside and snap some picks.
