Unique POV makes for unique photos

  • Excerpt: I'm having a blast looking at the world in a different way, a totally unique point of view. I've used this lens for everything from flowers very close up to landscapes. I still don't know quite what to expect, but I'm having fun. This would not be one of the first lenses I would buy, but it is a good one when you've learned how your camera and the standard lenses work. It's added fun back into my photography, which was getting all too serious.
  • Pros: Consistent Output, Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Lightweight, Strong Construction

Good Fisheye

GJS, B&H Photo
28 December 2013
  • Excerpt: Very light weight, reasonably sharp. (Too) easy to include fingers in edge of photo if not careful (when used with Samsung Galaxy NX camera). Disappointed the lens has no manual aperature control, focus wheel rotates endlessly with no stops for minimum or maximum focus.
  • Pros: Lightweight
  • Cons: Slow Focus

Less than I expected,still recommend.

  • Excerpt: Lightweight takes good pictures and detail. Lots of fun to use. What's nice is that capable and makes use of all the cameras great features which you would not be able to use with a generic brand lens. It is a nice addition to my Samsung lenses but I expected a little more. It was a toss up between this lens and the 12-24 ultra wide angle and I went for the lower price fisheye.
  • Pros: Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Lightweight, Nice Bokeh, Rugged, Strong Construction
