Summary: This lenses are great and a lot of fun. They do not have automatic focus nor anti-vibration systems... so everything has to be done manually, including aperture, ISO, speed and everything else. But once you get a hold of it, they are great.
Summary: With the exception of not having vibration control or auto focus, this thing is great! I was able to zoom in on the moon for my first series of pictures with this lens. I look forward to more night shots with this lens.
Summary: Good clear picture but little difficult use. I tried on FULL MOON DAY. Picture come good works only on Manual setting and manual focus. I got good picture but its need really nice tripod. Tried on D5000 Worth Trying if you curious too shoot MOON, or similar long distance objects.
Summary: I also used D90 nikon and toke shots , It is not easy but if you adjust the waitening and f you can get nice photo i shot some and i put it in image place in top of this page to share you my test also because of havy waight i used a stand ,It is very difficult to keep it study by your hand.
Summary: I use it on my D90 and it produces great shots of wildlife and sports. The f stop is a down side but for less than $300 I can not complain. I adjust my camera settings and the shots just get better. Buy it, I doubt if you will regret it.
