  • Summary: hi i'm new to photography and my husband purchased this lens for me. So far the pics I've taken are awesome, clear, bright, not fuzzy. The questions I asked the seller were answered professionally and without rudeness, i didn't feel belittled as a newbie photographer.I like this product as it is easy to use, produces gr8 pics and goes well with my Sony camera, my only dislike is it is a wee bit heavy and is too heavy for my tripod, not too sure how to remedy this prob...

Great Value

LT, Amazon
24 April 2014
  • Summary: This lens is a great value. It takes some practice to use it well, but the images are well worth the small investment when compared to straight typical zoom or fixed lenses. The Mirror is great for depth of field, however as an aperture control type photographer, it was a challenge for me to NOT be able to change the f Stop. In the old film days, focusing an SLR was easy with split circle prisms. My Nikon DSLR is much harder to manually focus.

Great lens for the money

JD, B&H Photo
21 March 2014
  • Excerpt: I've had this lens for about a month and as time goes by, my photos with it get better and better. I still strugle at times to get a crisp focus, but if you open the focus ring to let more light in as the instructions recommend, focusing is much easier. Lens is fairly light weight and for the money does a good job.
  • Pros: Easily Interchangeable, Lightweight, Strong Construction

I like it!

  • Summary: Like the lens. Still learning how to use it. Somewhat of a challenge to be steady enough to get a clear image, but I will learn. Recommend this if you don't expect perfection the first time out and are willing to experiment.
