Why I returned it the first week

BK, Cameta
30 November 2015
  • Excerpt: This lens was just to big and heavy for my Samsung 300X.<br />It was difficult to focus and needed to be supported with a tripod not only to focus but also because it needs a lot light which required shutter speeds below 30th of a second.
  • Pros: Rugged, Strong Construction
  • Cons: Heavy, Slow Focus

I have actually come to really enjoy this lens

Curtis, Amazon
3 November 2015
  • Summary: I bought this lens initially as something cheap and light that I could take moon photos with. I have actually come to really enjoy this lens! After some practice (I mean a few hundred photos worth), you can start to get a feel for the focusing, which can be extremely tricky at first.

Good for the $$$

sean arguelles, Amazon
19 September 2015
  • Summary: Lens was used but came in pristine condition. Mirror lens are not as sharp as normal lens' but for my needs it works well. Bokeh from mirror lens' are donut shaped, so it can be distracting but as long as the background is not busy it will not be too bad. Great price for such a long focal range.

13 August 2015
  • Excerpt: After experimenting with this a lens a little I have decided that it performs a better than some have posted. The physical length of the lens makes is pron to vibration which takes some time to settle down - the solution was to use the self timer set to 10 seconds if the subject permits, or a remote...
  • Pros: Easily Interchangeable, Good Roi
  • Cons: Unweildly Length
