Excerpt: This lens was just to big and heavy for my Samsung 300X.
It was difficult to focus and needed to be supported with a tripod not only to focus but also because it needs a lot light which required shutter speeds below 30th of a second.
Summary: I bought this lens initially as something cheap and light that I could take moon photos with. I have actually come to really enjoy this lens! After some practice (I mean a few hundred photos worth), you can start to get a feel for the focusing, which can be extremely tricky at first.
Summary: Lens was used but came in pristine condition. Mirror lens are not as sharp as normal lens' but for my needs it works well. Bokeh from mirror lens' are donut shaped, so it can be distracting but as long as the background is not busy it will not be too bad. Great price for such a long focal range.
Excerpt: After experimenting with this a lens a little I have decided that it performs a better than some have posted. The physical length of the lens makes is pron to vibration which takes some time to settle down - the solution was to use the self timer set to 10 seconds if the subject permits, or a remote...
Excerpt: I ordered this lens with a T-mount adapter for my new Sony NEX-7, and I have to say I wasn't expecting it to perform as well as it does. It is solidly constructed, with no rattles or bad fit and finish; it was perfect out of the box.
Excerpt: I messed around with the lens for hours trying to get it to work . I called the shop the guy was on vacation so once I got to a point I was so aggravated I was messing around and bam suddenly I got it to work... Wanted to use it for sports but haven't gotten much of an opportunity.
Pros: Durable, Strong Construction
Cons: Heavy, Poor in Low Light, Slow Focus, Tough To Attach
Excerpt: This lens is a lot of fun to use. You'll need a sturdy tripod and a way to trigger your camera or shots will come out blurry, but if you're looking to have some cheap outdoor fun - $!! I'm attaching some pictures I shot useing a SONY a6000.
Excerpt: Never could get it to focus properly for me. Maybe above my ability.

I was really thankful to the folks at Cameta Camera.
Gave me a prompt refund, were very nice.
I would defiantly order from these folks again.
Excerpt: I didn't expect much when I bought this but have been pleasantly surprised at it's performance. Aberrations, of course. 500mm, probably not exactly. Fairly true color, yes. Would I buy it again, yes!
