Summary: I have the Pentax SMCP-A Zoom 80-200mm f/4.7-5.6 Lens but was considering buying this lens to get more zoom for wildlife photography. Luckily I tried it at a camera store and compared this lens to my existing lens. This lens (Pentax - SMC-P DA -L 55-300/4-5.8 ED Telephoto Zoom Lens For Digital SLRs) had significant image quality, contrast and color accuracy issues and I would not recommend it.
