Strange focus ring but good macro

Toshi, Adorama

  • Excerpt: I just want to tell you about the focus ring of this lens first. The ring continues rotating even it reaches to the minimum or maximum focusing points with little bit stronger force. I had a very strange feeling with that working because my other Pentax lenses are not working like that. Those focus rings stop at the minimum and maximum focusing points. But, do not worry, it does not mean working improperly. I asked Pentax Japan if it defects.
  • Pros: Consistent Output, Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Lightweight, Strong Construction
  • Cons: Slow Focus

Pentax FA135/2.8

  • Summary: I bought used in very good condition with no marks on body and glass. Very hard to find. Only few can be seen on Ebay per year. Metal body, heavy but feels solid and comfortable on camera body. Fast and close focusing, good for close-ups. Manual focusing ring is a little bit loose. Some purple fringing can be seen when opened. Have not seen any vignetting nor distortion. Corners are very good. In my opinion very good piece of glass.
