Excerpt: Bought this lens used in almost perfect condition a few days ago so this is an early review. Also, I painstakingly adjusted the micro focus before use. On my camera it was a +6 which is pretty normal for this camera.
Pros: Wow, very sharp. Easy to handle. Pretty fast to focus.
Cons: Not as fast as HSM/Ultrasonic motor. Usual sound of screw drive.

Pentax 50-200mm f/4-5.6 ED SMC DA WR review by jamesm007

Summary: Rating this lens is hard. In general, yea its got soft spots and the DA55-300mm is much longer and sharper. However when compared to other APS/FF lens of 50-200mm or 75-300mm this lens is as good. Really better if you put a Sigma 70-300mm APO on a FF.
Pros: Just a tad bigger than DA18-55mm. Solid Build. Weather Resistant. Nice Range
Summary: I am astounded at the quality for such a modest price. I have taken some amazing photos with this lens on my Pentax K50. The performance outshines other lenses that I've paid over twice as much for.
