Excerpt: This lens is more fun than barrel of monkeys. Manual focus allows the user to set their own focal point. Focus close for blurred background, focus far for great depth of field. I love this lens, no Q kit is complete without one. I use this lens on my Q7 and my Q10 quite often.
Summary: i have never used a fisheye but this is a fun little lens...wish i could autoficus but knew that before i bought it...the infinity on the focus is off so don't plan on focusing for long distance and just leaving it wide open..none of these issues i see as negatives..price is good and it's a nice little lens..
Great little lens for the price. Use focus-peaking and you'll be set.

Summary: I've found that this is a pretty good little lens if you turn on the focus-peaking feature. I'll let other reviewers go into the technical details, but in my few weeks with this little lens I find that it takes great ultra-wide images and is pretty easy to focus. Just as with most fish-eye lenses, though, you gotta be careful not to scratch the front lens element. I'm loving my little Pentax Q -- it's so easy to travel with!
Summary: I bought this with some trepidation -- I'm not a giant fan of the whole toy lens thing -- and really have been shocked at the quality. To give you a point of reference, my favorite 35mm lens is still the spectacular Pentax 135 1.8 ED; these days it lives on my K20d. On the Q, I have the 01 Prime, 02 short zoom and 06 long zoom, along with the 03 Fisheye. The latter, while slow, is sharp and glorious. And addictive.
Excerpt: Update your Q to the latest firmware and enable focus peaking. Now the 03 Fisheye becomes the absolutely awesome!!! I carry my Q, 01 Prime, 03 Fisheye, and a spare battery in a tiny pouch. So much capability and fun without the burden of a DSLR!
Pros: Consistent Output, Image quality, Lightweight, Strong Construction
Summary: A fun fisheye for a low price. Sharper than expected for the cost, provided that one very carefully focuses using the magnified manual focus view. The f/5.6 fixed aperture is fine outdoors and even usable indoors in low light thanks to the excellent Pentax Q in-body image stabilization and decent higher ISO performance. This lens is cheap, fun and surprisingly capable. Go for it!
