Excerpt: This is more of a toy lens than a very sharp one. It renders good detail for objects close to the lens, but the image quality fades quickly for anything 5 feet or more away. The manual focus is no big deal due to the huge DOF with the Q. Nothing wrong with the lens, just don't expcet the image quality of the 01 or 02 lenses.
Pros: Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Lightweight
Excerpt: Fisheye lenses are about fun and this one delivers with its large field of view. Manual focus is quite easy given its' huge depth of field. It is considered a 'toy' lens so don't expect stellar image quality. The images produced by this lens are fine for viewing on screen but not for large prints. Build quality is very good and the lens is compact and light-weight. At the low price of this lens I'd recommend it to anyone that has a Q just for the 'fun' factor.
Summary: Pictures come out WOW, BUT: -It doesn't work with autofocus, which means you will ruin some pictures... -I cannot figure out if I can manually set the exposure. I know, of course, you can with this camera. But I can't get it to work with this lens. If anyone else has fixed this issue please let me know.
Summary: I've been using this lens for about 3 months now, and while it's easy to get over the lack of autofocus due to the great depth of field, the lack of sharpness has been pretty disappointing. I realize that it's unreasonable to expect better optics in this form factor at this price point, but I was really expecting better. Hopefully the superwide prime that is slated to come out late 2013/early 2014 is better.
Summary: Es una lástima no tiene posibilidad de utilizar autofocus, asi que la verdad es que a veces es complicado enfocar y aún más tomando fotos exteriores con mucha luz ya que la imagen en el visor de la camara apenas se ve.
