This lens does everything I ask of it

Summary: I bought this lens as a compact, long reach tele lens that would complement the mid-zoom lenses that I use for "walk around" photography, especially when travelling. This lens has advantages of size and weight and has delivered super crisp images for me especially in animal photography and sports, paired with a G5 body. I think most Lumix G series users will find it hard to beat the value for money and the results are great - probably only a concern to pixel-peepers.
Pros: Inexpensive, Compact, Easy to use, Durable, Convenient
Summary: This is a very nice lens. Is is not expandable, which means it does not change a length during zooming - so you do not need to worry about space for the lens. It makes beautiful very sharp pictures and it has very powerful stabilization.
Summary: This lens is well built and feels solid but not too heavy. I've used it on a Panasonic G5 and GX1 and it feels balanced on both. Being able to use the zoom lever or twist the focus ring to focus is good and the zoom lever focusing is smooth and feels quite natural to use. When used in good light it focuses quickly and quietly throughout the zoom range and when stopped down a bit is sharp enough for most, but I'm not a Pixel Peeper!
Pros: Durable, Great Features, Great Picture Quality, Lightweight, Simple Controls
Summary: Love this lens - it's light weight, doesn't change length, the image stabilisation works extremely well. Image quality on a GF5 is extremely good - basically as good as the 14-42 x lens I otherwise use on the GF5 (unlike say, the 55-300 Pentax lens for my K5 which is fun but no where near as good as a shorter zoom).
Pros: Durable, Great Picture Quality, Lightweight, Simple Controls
