Excerpt: A beautiful, crisp, lightweight lens. This replaced my very heavy Olympus 35-100. Plus, the addition of the stabilizer makes the handheld shots look that much better. I wish it had a start and stop focus range instead of continuos and a hard case, but for the price and the look, it is fantastic.
Pros: Consistent Output, Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Lightweight
Excerpt: This mid range telephoto zoom lens gives me the perfect options for taking pictures discretely. It's sharp and light weight. I love that it's f/2.8 which allows me a wide range of lighting conditions. I'm thrilled with the results.
Pros: Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Lightweight
Excerpt: Smaller, lighter, cheaper but just as sharp as the famed 70-200 by Nikon/Canon/Tamron/Sigma without the small DOF. Very sharp and great colors. The Oly in body VR/IS/OS /VC is spectacular; no need for the lens IS.
Pros: Consistent Output, Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Lightweight, Nice Bokeh, Rugged, Sharp, Strong Construction
Excerpt: Excellent image quality in the frame center, Good image quality on the edge of the frame, Very well corrected chromatic aberration, Low spherical aberration, Fast and silent autofocus, Very good image stabilization This is expensive lens but is worth it. I use it on my GX7 and it produces excellent pictures.
Excerpt: I finally broke down and orderd this lens. When it came I was very impressed by it's build quality, and smooth operation. I wanted a small, portable lens that could be used in relatively low light. This lens fits that perfectly.I immediately tested the lens as I always do, and was really impressed by the image quality. This lens is as good as any zoom lens I've ever owned, and that includes the legendary Olympus 50~200.This little jewel takes a back seat to no one.
Pros: Consistent Output, Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Lightweight, Nice Bokeh, Rugged, Strong Construction
Optically great, fast, quiet, sharp, and perhaps the best Panasonic lens yet!

Summary: Undoubtedly one of the best lenses for the Micro Four Thirds format, this lens is top notch in every way. Here's a list: - Weather-sealed - Fast, quiet, inner focusing - Non-extending zoom - Attractive bokeh - OIS for stills and video - Constant F2.8 - Excels optically (very sharp in center, only mild softening in the corners wide open) - Relatively light and small compared to 70-200 (equiv) F2.8 lenses on other systems - Has a complimentary 12-35 F2.8 lens with similar...

Summary: I purchased this lens for use on my Panasonic gh3. I have used it to take action photos of the kids at indoor gymnastics events and outside just playing around. The lens performs terrifically. Very sharp, excellent color, rich contrast. Images look very professional. The 2.8 aperture combined with the 100mm zoom range give a photo dad a huge advantage at indoor sporting events.
