Excerpt: I use GH4 for video with metabones speedbooster. I needed to do hdr timelaps sunrise and sunset shots. This lens was highly recommended. It did deliver. I will not use this for video. Metabones speedbooster is a must for GH4. But, for stills and timelaps where you need camera to control your lens settings.. this is it.
Excerpt: This lens is a 24-70mm focal length equivalent for Micro 4/3 format, which is a good all-around range for most uses. I have been using it on my Panasonic GH4, and optically it's very sharp, even at f/2.8. It is also extremely lightweight and small, especially when compared to full-frame lenses. I am using it primarily for video. I mainly purchased this lens for the OIS feature, which works well for handheld shots.
Summary: Be aware that this lens is mailed directly from Japan, thus is will not be guaranteed by Panasonic America. And that is the reason it is so much cheaper than other listings of this model. I assumed this lens is new and I have nothing that makes me believe otherwise, other than it did not come in a box, it did not come with a warranty card or any other paperwork. Also the cap on the lens connection side was missing, replaced with the cap for the camera connection.
Excerpt: Great stabilization for video. I did several events and the lens performed wonderfully with the GH3. Carefully with group performances and AFF autofocus mode , the lens can hunt and spoil some footage.
Great addition to current stable of micro four thirds lenses.

Summary: I will be putting this lens through it's paces this weekend during a portrait shoot. Test photos and video so far are quite pleasing. Not as sharp wide open as I would have expected for a lens in this price range but still quite satisfied nonetheless.
