Great addition to current stable of micro four thirds lenses.

Summary: I will be putting this lens through it's paces this weekend during a portrait shoot. Test photos and video so far are quite pleasing. Not as sharp wide open as I would have expected for a lens in this price range but still quite satisfied nonetheless.
Summary: Great quality for it's size and purpose. A little too expensive, but that's what you pay for a 12-35 mm with fixed 2.8. it's distorted on 12mmm..get better from 15mm...A must have if your need quality in a micro 4 3 zoom lens.
If you want one best zoom in this format, this is the one to get.

Summary: One of the best M43 lenses available with very useful zoom range. Can aslo be used both day and night with maximum f2.8. Image Stabilization works great!!. Background blur is not impressive as olympus 45mm f1.8, but quite good. I do not miss using a prime lens with that range 12-35mm. Overall, I love this lens and plan to keep it as long as I have a M43 camera.
Summary: The optics for this lens are terrific. Even wide open it's a winner. However, I was unable to get a smooth zoom, even when using Zoom lever DMW-ZL1. It's now in for adjustment, and hopefully its zoom action will equal its optics when returned.
Pros: Compact, Easy to use, Durable, Convenient, excellent optics
