Excerpt: I bought this lens to give me added flexibility. I have taken it on a holiday to Tasmania where the light is like no other I have seen - and it performed beautifully. The lens doesn't come out a lot but when it does it does what is needed.
Excerpt: Lens is used with Olympus EPL-1 for sports and bird photography. It is quite long, relatively heavy, & at least the size of Nikkor 55-200. The hood makes it even longer but is absolutely necessary to prevent flare at the longest focal lengths.
Pros: Fast / accurate auto-focus, Strong Construction
Excerpt: This lens is a great value. The built quality is good plus it has O.I.S. I have the Olympus EP-2, which has IBIS, but I prefer using the O.I.S. AF is acceptable in good lighting but a bit slow in low lights. The image quality is very good for it's price.
Excerpt: Got this to go with my G2, and it balances nicely with the body. Though a good amount heavier than the 14-42 kit lens, it is not very heavy at all, especially for the 400mm equivalent focal length.
Pros: Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Lightweight, Nice Bokeh
Excerpt: Have used the lens with my new GH2 the past couple of weeks at a tennis tournament and my daughter's lacrosse game. Pleasantly surprised at speed of focus and clarity of the image when zoomed in.
Pros: Clear Images, Easy to use, Fast / accurate auto-focus
Excerpt: I use this Lens with my Panasonic Lumix GF1. Ive recently returned from a trip trekking & on safari in Nepal. The unit is very lightweight, sturdy and stands up well to moist conditions in jungles and the mountains.
