Excerpt: Bought this lens for my Olympus OMD E-m1. Works great. Completely compatible. Fast and accurate autofocus. Sharp pictures in the center, a bit soft at the edges. I like the range of 45-200 ( 90-400) full frame.
Excerpt: I use this lens with a Lumix G6 camera body. This is a nice lens for walking along the beach, getting pictures of shore birds with getting too much into their personal space, so that they fly away, which is what I have mostly used it for so far. It is reasonably fast, has good optic quality, and has smooth action on the zoom. And for the price, you can't beat it.
Excerpt: I carry this in my camera bag always, because you never know when you need to reach out for a shot. It takes great pictures at all focal lengths and is light weight and compact. It could be a little faster but with the stabilization inboard, it remains very, very useful. I also like the fact that it didn't cost an arm and a leg to acquire it.
Pros: Consistent Output, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Lightweight, Nice Bokeh
Excerpt: I use this for travel, family events and around town. The focal length picks up where the kit lens leaves off, and goes out to the point that some wildlife photography is possible. I don't often print pictures - the most stringent test they're going to get is being displayed on a TV screen. It fills that purpose very nicely. It's sharp, light, and focuses quickly. Obviously it's not the fastest lens ever, but it might be the best overall at this price point.
Pros: Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Lightweight
Excerpt: Using this lens outdoors it almost always needs solid support or bracing. I've only just started using it. At the 60-80 marks it's decent for portraits, focuses quickly and is agreeably sharp. It's a bit big but not too huge to comfortably carry although I'm not sure I'll be taking it along without a tripod. The price point is excellent.
Pros: Consistent Output, Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus
Excerpt: Underestimated zoom from Panasonic - images are clean and Sharp from long distances, Product is better than the skill of most unprofessional photografers. Tripod- or steady freehand shots are sharp and crisp. Works fine also on Olympus cameras.
Pros: Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Lightweight, Nice Bokeh, Rugged, Strong Construction
