Summary: If you are on the fence about getting this lens... jump off and just purchase it!! We use it for our Panasonic Lumix G6 camera and it is excellent. Is there a difference between the glass in a Lumix lens and a Lecia lens? Sure. Is it so noticeable that you should spend hundreds more on the Lecia (especially if you are a amateur photographer)? NO! This thing takes magnificent photos... PERIOD!
Summary: I was impressed with the build quality of this lens - and I was even more impressed by the image quality that resulted when I attached it to my Panasonic GX7. This was one of my best purchases ever!
Summary: I bought this lens to go with my new Panasonic DMC-Gx7 camera... I love it.. The silver really makes it look vintage and the picture quality is amazing.. This lens allows me to zoom in closer than the original lens that came with the bundle. Its super easy to change out the lens and its not bulky to carry.
Much better than G5 "stock" lens, augments it very well

Summary: The DMC-G5 comes with a 14-42mm lens that has a very "sticky" zoom ring. This lens operates much more smoothly, and will probably be our primary lens whenever we don't absolutely need wider angles. When we do, this 45-150mm lens is a really good compliment, starting at almost the same zoom as the longest telephoto of the stock lens.
