Summary: I have an Olympus E-P3 kit with 17mm 2.8 pancake. I love the pancake for candids and portability, but craved a zoom for outdoor shooting. After shopping around the Panasonic 14-45 landed on my doorstep. It's small compared to a DSLR lens but propelled my wee E-P3 out of my pocket and into a camera bag, drawing the rig into near Rebel SL1 size territory. With the included petal cutaway hood, it is really long.
Does this lense work with Panosonic Lumix DMC- GF3? there is no clear indication?

Summary: Does this lens work with Lumix GF3 perfectly? there is no clear indication? Other lens has a box under it so you can input the camera type to be sure what you buy is useable for your Panasonic Lumix GF3 but this does not have that box to help you. Please answer ? What does H-FSD14045 means? Panasonic LUMIX G VARIO 14-45mm/F3.5-5.6 ASPH./MEGA O.I.S.
Summary: This is the second 14-45mm Lumix I've purchased. Listed as Used-Like New that's exactly what I recieved. I ordered both this and the previous example to replace the 14-42 I sold with a GH2, I use one of these on a GH3 (for something more compact) and one on a Lumix GX1. This is a very good "workhorse" wide angle (28mm equivalent) to "portrait perspective" telephoto (90mm equiv). Build quality is better than the 14-42 and the zoom is much smoother.
Summary: Awesome Lens, a bit pricy for its size. I like it and am amazed by its shooting abilities, which is almost as great as DSLR lenses. It's great for portraits, and has great shutter sensitivities. The only cons that I would say is that, it is not Vibration Reduction, so you might get some blurry images while shooting moving scenes such as sports :) Overall, I am impressed and love it :)

Summary: After comparing with Olympus 14-42, Panasonic 14-42, i decided to keep this high IQ zoom. it's comnenient for everyday use. But if you want go further, some primes are suggested, such as olympus 45 1.8d, sigma 19 2.8, and of cause 85 1.8d which is expected by every one.
Sharp, quality lens, superior to the inexpensive kit lens.

Summary: Bought to go with the Panny G3 instead of the cheap 14-42 kit lens-poorest quality of all Panny/Leica lenses. This is a very sharp lens. Small and lightweight. Good build quality. No vignetting, sharp in the corners. Built in image stabilization that can be turned off. Worth the extra couple of hundred bucks for a nice lens. Cons: F3.5 widest opening.
Fantastic lens, 100times better than kit lens. Lovely AF super fast!

Summary: this is still the best standard zoom lens for micro four thirds if image quality is the most important factor and you don't care about size. unfortunately it is quite big and doesn't fit well on small mFT cameras like GF3 etc. it is quite sharp across the zoom range if you get a good copy, my first one was decentered with a soft side to the left.
