Excerpt: I got this lens because I was tired of using my old Canon 50mm 1.8 lens and micro four-thirds adapter for my GH4 and needed a compatible lens that would let me adjust my aperture since I was unable to do so with my adapter for my GH4.
Pros: Consistent Output, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Nice Bokeh, Strong Construction
Summary: Beautiful fast lens. Excellent sharp images when you want them, creamy bokeh too if necessary. Using this with the olympus E-PM2, there is no purple fringing. One star off is due to the slow autofocus when using Olympus body.
Summary: One of the reference lenses for the M4/3 format. Should be the first one to buy after buying an Oly / Panasonic body. Absolutely beautiful images ! The compact size is wonderful, one can put it on an E-PM body and it easily slips into a coat pocket.
Excerpt: I bought this lens to use on my GX7 along with the 14-140mm zoom. The two strong advantages over the zoom for me are its weight and light gathering. Between its lighter weight and shorter length, I hardly feel it around my neck or shoulder. It also will slip easily into a coat pocket.
Summary: Excellent lens. I saw a friend use this lens and I had to get one. It gives great picture sharpness with and can generate a nice bokeh. I'm using this on the Panasonic Lumix GF6. The combo is much easier to bring around than my Canon 60D, without sacrificing much in my pictures.
