Summary: If you are interested in this lens to do 3d video like I was, know that its only for 3d pictures. When the description of the lens states "recording" they mean recording photos. Totally misleading.
Just check it see if this is compatible with your camera

Summary: Got this for my wife's Olympus camera as I was told by a camera store that it would work Found out from the tech department at Olympus that 3d is only done in a software on your computer not the lens You will Get a error code on a Olympus camera
Summary: I was excited to get this lens but disappointed to find it simply didn't work on my DMC-GH1 camera. No matter what I did, I would get the dreaded "Please check that your lens is attached correctly" message.
Summary: This lens' maximum aperture of f/12 makes 3D pictures impossible to take in all of the brightest of summer afternoons. Otherwise, the pictures may come out blurry or dark and grainy due to the slow aperture.
Summary: Even though this is advertised as being for micro four thirds interchangeable lens systems, it really isn't. It only works with Panasonic cameras! This is according to their website. False advertising if you ask me, but caveat emptor I guess.
Summary: This lens ONLY plays back 3D shots when output to a Panasonic 3D TV, and not all Brands of 3D TV, eg Samsung. This is NOT made clear on box, nor on the operating instructions nor by the assistants in a approved Panasonic dealership. A mis-sold product.
