Summary: This is a very sharp lens! Great colors, very light weight, like many of the MF3ds lens's. Pretty nice portrait len's just a tad soft in the corners at 2.8, but can be fixed in post if needed or cropped out. This lens has one problem, focus. It's slower than most MF3rds lens's i have used and hunts a little in low light, even at f2.8.

Summary: I love shooting close-up - not quite macro (1:1) in most cases, but pretty close (1:4 to 1:2). I am amazed at how well the autofocus works even it these close ranges - it always focuses on something, and very often the right thing, but once you get to know the lens its relatively easy to coax it into focusing on the correct subject (hint: if you want it to focus closer than it is, look for something that will fill the FOV and focus on that, then move back to your actual...
Pros: Great image quality, excellent autofocus
Cons: small max aperture, lens hood doesn't reverse for storage

Summary: I needed a micro lens for my Panasonic G1 and didn't want to go the adapter route. This lens is expensive but the quality of the photos taken with it are outstanding. Manual focus works well as the image seems to 'pop' in and out of focus with small movement of the ring so it's very useful. Lens also works well in portraiture. Very good bokeh appearance. Would have no trouble recommending it.
Summary: I dreamed of this lens for a long time to go with my G1, I was put off by the high price tag. After saving hard I decided to treat myself to this lens and I am glad I did as I am having a lot of fun using it both on auto and manual focus when photographing flowers and butterflies etc. Just wish it wasn't so expensive as I would have bought it a lot sooner!
