  • Conclusion: Leica is renowned for the high quality of its optical products and we can confidently say that the Vario-Elmarit 14-50 mm f/2.8-3.5 Asph Mega O.I.S. doesn’t disgrace its producer. Quite the opposite in fact – for a zoom lens with a 3.6x multiplier it fares really well.   • Summary: Śmiało można więc powiedzieć, że w świetle naszych testów zestaw DMC L1 plus omawiany tutaj obiektyw, to tandem który miłośnicy formatu 4/3 powinni poważnie wziąć w krąg swoich zainteresowań.
  • Pros: solidna i gustowna obudowa,, świetna jakość obrazu w centrum kadru niezależnie od użytej ogniskowej i wartości przysłony,, dobra jakość obrazu na brzegu kadru,, mała aberracja chromatyczna dla dłuższych ogniskowych,, mała dystorsja,, znikomy astygmatyzm,, dobra praca pod ostre światło,, sprawny autofokus.
  • Cons: za duża aberracja chromatyczna dla 14 mm i dla maksymalnego otworu względnego przy 50 mm.
