Excerpt: Several years ago I compared this lens head-to-head against expensive Canon and Nikon lenses, and this one won hands down for clarity. There may be another optical characteristic or so that I didn't look for, but clarity is far more important to me than any other.
Pros: Amazing Clarity, Continuous Focus, Easy To Use, Lightweight, Reliable
Excerpt: Using the lens on my Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera. Focus is good throughout the zoom range. Zoom ring is a bit stiff for video. A good placeholder while saving up for nicer glass. Size and weight are good for run & gun handheld use.

Excerpt: Used this for my BMPCC. Just recently purchased my BMPCC and needed a lens to play with. This lens does the job well. Of course it's not the best but for a starter like myself, this lens fits right in. If not willing to spend too much but you still want good shots.
Excerpt: I bought this lens for my GH4, simply because I didn't what to spend too much on a camera I wasn't familiar with. I thought It would a "good enough" lens to test my GH4 instead of spending big money on lenses on a camera I don't want anymore.
Excerpt: It's a good, cheap lens. Sure it's slow but...you get what you pay for. I bought it mostly to have *something* with image stabilization on my GH4. All my other lenses are Canon and I'm using a "dumb adapter" (no need for the Speedbooster yet). The lens is very lightweight.
