Not Good,not sharp,Noise when focusing

Excerpt: This is a plastic beginners lens. The lens is noisy when trying to find focus on my G7. Not a sharp lens. I honestly took a shot at this lens based on the reviews. I really don't like the plastic mount and the optics are not good.
The electronic focus becomes horribly pixelated often and when it does work

Summary: This lens does not interact well with the Olympus OM-D E-M10. The electronic focus becomes horribly pixelated often and when it does work, it's very very slow. I would only recommend this lens for really well lit and stationary subjects. Don't bother for anything fast moving.
Summary: I did not like this lens at all. I don't know if it was a manufacturing defect or that is just how the lens is produced. First, the lens did not fit properly against the camera mount. It was loose and would shift when zooming.
Excerpt: The screw heads that hold the flimsy mount ring are too small and pull right through the plastic with moderate torque, which is what happened to me. They could have solved this with some [$]cent titanium washers, but overall it's a very poor design and they charge[$]repair costs to further...
Yes it is plastic but it should not have broken so completely like it did
14 July 2011
Summary: Bought this for my girlfriend's camera, she dropped it from a sitting position of about 2 1/2 feet and the whole thing came apart. Yes it is plastic but it should not have broken so completely like it did. Plastic so cheap it broke easily, will never buy again.
Summary: Had to return this, as I just couldn't not justify the price compared to the poor quality of this lens. Don't get me wrong, it does work, but not well. The design is very cheap; all thin plastic. Everytime I zoomed I was worried that it would just break in my hand.
Summary: Bought this lens as part of a package with an Olympus E-Pl1 Pen camera and standard lens. Everything worked really well for about six months when the larger lens started jamming without having suffered any physical knocks or other ill treatment.
