Excerpt: Just getting started with using it. Other than being pretty heavy when it and the camera body are supported by the strap around your neck, it could very well be my primary, all around lens. It is fast and being able to use the full telephoto and still have a decent depth of field is great.
Excerpt: When I first saw the size and felt the weight of this lens being a woman, I thought "what have I done", but after a little practise I soon changed my mind. Last weekend I went on a model photo shoot in a park and walked around for 3 hours hand holding my camera.
Excerpt: I use this lens for all types of videos. It is beautiful at f 2 but using the Panasonic AF100, you really must use the focus assist to truly tell if you're sharp. At 100mm, it's nice and crisp. You just need to note that the minimum focal distance is about 4 1/2 feet.
