Camera gives you solid feeling in hands but viewfinder is not that good
8 September 2012
Summary: ______ PROS: ______ - Camera feels solid in hands; - Automatic exposures up to half an hour or so - haven't seen this anywhere else; - You can push/pull exposure value for 2 stops on the film sensitivity knob; - Film winding knob has a small way to go which feels solid; ______ CONS: ______ - It's pretty hard to get a focus because of a dark focusing matte screen.
Summary: This review will focus on using this lens with the Panasonic AF100, but before I do so here are a couple of impressions of the lens. This is an Olympus lens and it was designed to work with the micro4/3 rds format DSLRs. Most if not all of the reviews concern themselves with this use. I had a bit of trouble making an olympus lens purchase in this price range. I commonly spend multiple thousands of dollars on gear so the size of the number does not give me pause.
