Great lens! Great shop!

Summary: My husband loves the lens! It looks good as new! The shop I bought it from is amazing! They were so helpful, sending me emails and keeping me updated every step of the way! I will return to them for our camera needs.
Summary: First and foremost, this lens is a part of the SG range of Zuiko lenses. There are also HG lenses, of which I own three (11-22, 50 Macro and 50-200) and there are also SHG lenses, of which I own four (7-14, 14-35, 35-100 and 150). A comparison with these higher grade with more refined optics and build would be unfair. Within its class, I find this lens to perform quite well, with the added benefit of the 10X telephoto range.
Summary: This lens is the one lens I take everywhere, there may be sharper lenses but this one is fine for most things. When you don't want to carry a lot of weight or be ready for any type of shooting this is the one I take.
Summary: This lens is a big upgrade over the two kit lenses. The focal length is great and keeps you from having to change between lenses often. Good focus time and sharp images as long as you have enough light. If you don't want to carry multiple lenses, this is perfect.
Summary: Wow - I cannot say enough good about this lens. It's relatively light in weight, includes a "lock", and, along with a couple of single lenses ( a 25 mm pancake and perhaps one other) will be excellent to take on a couple of upcoming trips, without breaking my back or the bank. The only slightly annoying thing is that it requires a 63 mm filter instead of the 58 mm ones on the two zoom lenses that came with the camera I use.
Wonderful all around lens - Perfect for everyday use

Summary: This lens is of wonderful Olympus/Zuiko quality. It is the perfect all around lens with 18-180mm, so you won't need to change out lenses during your shooting sessions. It has a nice professional feel and weight. The only drawback is the noise level; it is slightly noisier then the 40-140mm lens. However for your average/every day use this should not be a deterrent. I highly reccomend this lens for all olympus e-series users.
