Excellent Lens, highly recommended, top quality.

Summary: Pricey, however good quality and workmanship justifies cost! I am very satisfied with this lens, have taken about 300 pictures so far, does everything I want it to do. Clarity is excellent at all zoom levels. Installed UV Filter on it, more for protecting the lens itself than for any other reason. Would recommend this lens to anybody. Has fast focus capability, little on the heavy side, but manageable. All in all, this is my third lens from Zuiko.
Total professional quality. I'll never need to upgrade in this focal range!

Summary: I shoot mostly nature video w/Panasonic GH3. First of all, this is a supremely sharp lens, throughout the zoom. It's built really well, is rather heavy (which I like) and has become my be-all lens in this focal length range. My only wish is it would sprout image stabilization. That said, it is an Olympus and though I'd never own an Oly for video, I like that their cameras have the stabilization in-camera. Boo points for Panasonic on that one.
Summary: I wanted a faster lens than the kit lens and the quality of the Zuiko 12-60mm is widely recognized. It also has fast SWD focus which the kit lens lacked. My experience with this lens has been great it does almost everything I want with only a little bit of distortion at the wide end and it's easily correctable in post processing. The range both of focus and focal range will cover 90+ percent of what I want to shoot. If I only have room to take one lens this is it.
Excerpt: I've had the lens a few weeks. Am more than pleased with it. I have been doing a lot of indoor low-light work in churches with low illumination. Photos have been clear and sharp with minimal noise. Results outdoors have been equally good.

The lens is certainly heavier than the kit lenses but that little bit of extra weight is not noticeable after about ten minutes.
Pros: Consistent Output, Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus
Summary: It is a remarkably versital lens with impressive specifications. It performs beyond my expectations. I especially like wide-angle capability. Quality is great and price was very reasonable on e-Bay.
Excerpt: This is a terrific walk around lens. It has a useful focal range and the photos are very sharp at 12mm and 60mm. I have experience no lens creep. It is rugged and built to last.

I am glad I chose to spend the extra bucks for this one rather the the 14-54 lens.
Pros: Consistent Output, Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Rugged, Strong Construction
Excerpt: This lens is my very first Olympus Zuiko lens. I'm using it on an E-5. I'm a long time (11 years) Canon digital shooter, and I used Nikon through the film days in the 1990s and Nikon digital in the last few years. I recently switched to Olympus. I'm amazed at the sharpness of the jpeg files straight out of the E-5, and the sharpness of this amazing lens.
Pros: Amazing Macro Ability, Consistent Output, Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Focus well in Low Light, Rugged, Smooth Manual Focus Ring, Strong Construction
Great constructive, image quality, accurate, fast and quiet AF. Very GOOD!

Summary: I have in my arsenal Panasonic DMC-L10 with KIT lens Leica 14-50 mm f/3.8-5.6. The lens is good and the design and color. But the luminosity is weak. For a long time and a lot of reading reviews, articles and forums, I purchased a wide angle lens OZ 11-22 f/2.8, but considering the possibility of OZ 12-60 mm, made a firm decision that this lens is more versatile, and he was right.
