A good lens, but I ordered in error.

Summary: Bear in mind, this is four-thirds and NOT micro 4/3. I made the same mistake, but was unable to resell it on Amazon because there is already a surplus of these. Had to hunt around but was able to find an affordable aftermarket adapter.
Summary: After searching high and low for a 50mm lens (or 4/3 equivalent) I can say that this is the lens I've been looking for. It is simple to operate and achieves the quality I'm looking for in snapshot and informal portrait photography. Although the lens pairs well with my E-510, I find that sometimes the lens must not mate correctly with the body's contacts; I have to remove the lens and clean contacts for it to operate correctly. It's a very mild inconvenience.
Excerpt: * Excellent performer* Works great on my E-P3 with Panasonic adapter. My first words after the first shots with this lens were: " wow... this is really, really good"After using it for a while my opinion is "yeap... this is really, really good"Excellent resolution, contrast, and colors; also, it's small, and light; on top of that, works great on the E-P3 (and I guess the same applies to the E-M5 and E-P5).Fantastic lens, great price.Photographers will appreciate this...
Pros: Fast / accurate auto-focus, Lightweight, Nice Bokeh

Summary: I've only used it a couple of times so far, but the results have been great! I'm hoping Olympus pulls through with at least one last 4/3 dslr camera this fall (the E-7 is something I've been waiting for). If you have any E System cameras, this is definitely a lens to add to your collection!
Summary: This lens is good to own for these reasons: It is small and light; it give image quality that is as good as more expensive lenses; it is fast enough at 2.8 to allow available light shooting; it gives the same perspective as the human eye. With this lens you will take your SLR when you might otherwise leave it at home. Add a wide angle such as the 9-18 and a telephoto such as the 40-150 and you have all you need for 98% of picture taking.
Summary: excellent lens, of course it is not made for the Olympus PEN E-PM1 Mini, get this for that it is very possible to make mistakes with this lens, if you use a digital Olympus Four Thirds Adapter MMF-2 will have in hand an excellent tool to take pictures with this great lens, I can assure you, it is a bit expensive but worth it, and the price of the adapter will not break your wallet.
