Not bad but not great either

Summary: I bought this thinking it would be a perfect fit on my lens as it states it was for the Zuiko Digital ED 14-42mm lens. Thus, I thought that the thread would be 40.5mm so it would easily fit onto my lens. I was wrong. When the package arrived the thread was 58mm I then had to buy step up rings. Anyhow, when I attach the "fish eye" adapter the Zuiko kit lens occasionally re-adjusts itself even if I have it in manual focus mode.
Excerpt: Sharp, but that's where it ends. It is slow, really cheap plastic feel, total China-ware. I sent mine back, I would rather spend my money on some quality glass. In light of the old Olympus OM mount lenses, this is a step back. This could be a proper kit lens for less than $200, then it would leave people in the 'best bang for the buck' realm, and no one would complain. You get what you pay for.
Still performance great. Video performance terrible.

Summary: Length:: 3:04 Mins Recently bought this lens with great expectation for use on my E-P1 primarily for video based on latest assertions from Olympus. Olympus makes great boasts about the speed of AF being optimized for video as well as still photos. Well, no problem with quick auto focus for stills performs is as good as Panasonic but not quite as accurate all the time.
Summary: Diesem Objektiv fehlt eindeutig die Schärfe.
