Very useful!

  • Excerpt: I own a large collection of Olympus OM lenses, which are now useful again. The adapter is particularly useful to me for macro work, as I would always want to focus manually with a tripod-mounted camera anyway. I also bought a Metabones micro 4/3 to Nikon F mount.
  • Pros: Durable, Rugged

Works as expected

  • Excerpt: Now my three old OM Zuiko lenses, 50mm/f1.4. 24mm/f2.8 and 35mm/f2.8, can be used with my GH4, they perform just as well as the modern Pani prime lens, I have the 20mm/1.7 and 14mm/2.5. The precision of the mounds and the finish to the grid on the ring is good.
  • Pros: Easily Interchangeable, Strong Construction
  • Cons: High price

save money with vintage glass

  • Excerpt: I mostly bought this so I could buy "vintage" large glass. My uses for large lenses are primarily landscape and astrophotography, meaning I do not need all the features of the modern four-thirds and micro-four-thirds lenses. Well maintained old Olympus OM lenses are simply amazing.
  • Pros: Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Lightweight

Works well, but too big

27 May 2014
  • Excerpt: I use this so that I can put my old Zuiko lens onto the OMD. I previously used the MF-1 for my e420, and it was much smaller. This one is about 2 or 3 times bigger, and makes the lens longer, but it's what has to be done I guess. Other than the size, it works like a charm!
  • Pros: Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Rugged, Strong Construction
  • Cons: Heavy
