Very useful!

  • Excerpt: I own a large collection of Olympus OM lenses, which are now useful again. The adapter is particularly useful to me for macro work, as I would always want to focus manually with a tripod-mounted camera anyway. I also bought a Metabones micro 4/3 to Nikon F mount.

Works as expected

  • Excerpt: Now my three old OM Zuiko lenses, 50mm/f1.4. 24mm/f2.8 and 35mm/f2.8, can be used with my GH4, they perform just as well as the modern Pani prime lens, I have the 20mm/1.7 and 14mm/2.5. The precision of the mounds and the finish to the grid on the ring is good.

Works well, but too big

  • Excerpt: I use this so that I can put my old Zuiko lens onto the OMD. I previously used the MF-1 for my e420, and it was much smaller. This one is about 2 or 3 times bigger, and makes the lens longer, but it's what has to be done I guess. Other than the size, it works like a charm!

Old Lenses Re-purposed

  • Excerpt: I still have all my OM gear from the 1970s (and still shoot with it on occasion), now some great OM lenses have found a new life on my OM-D M5. The build quality of the MF-2 is excellent, however it's a bit pricey.

Well made, does the job

  • Excerpt: My OM lenses work well with this adaptor. 200mm f 4 and 300 mm f 4.5 are particularly well-suited to this adaptor. Macro 80 and 135 mm lenses work well on the auto-tube or bellows with this adaptor. Effective doubling of the focal length with minimal loss of quality is a plus for these lenses.

Expensive - But well worth the money

  • Excerpt: Very well constructed, it enables me to use my extensive macro kit, along with my Olympus shift lens, on micro four thirds. It is far more pricey than 3rd party adapters but if I am mounting good lenses I want kit I can trust. this fits the bill.
  • Pros: High quality item, Rugged, Strong Construction
  • Cons: Cost
