Great "utility" lens that performs very well for most shots
16 February 2016
Summary: Great "utility" lens that performs very well for most shots. I keep this lens on the camera body with the Olympus auto-open lens cap, and it serves almost as a more versatile " point and shoot" type of set up for the majority of shooting situations that don't require a "special" lens.
Summary: Very surprised by the great ratings. The lens is very well built and looks really cool but the photos fall well below my modest expectations. The entire reason I bought the EPL-7 was so I could have the compact lens and body.
Summary: The service through Amazon was great as always. As far as the lens goes, i love the convenience and for that it's stayed on my camera almost exclusively but i do wish it were a little sharper.
The few opportunities I've had though show the lens to be a good performer. I like the electric zoom feature

The lens itself functions better than I expected for a kit lens
