Brilliant! You forget it's there, until looking at the awesome results!

Summary: I was brought up on tele-converters being the poor relation, for those who couldn't afford prime lenses, but this one is superb! The optical quality is excellent and without access to expensive test equipment I can't say that it degrades the image at all, though of course it must. Small, compact, yet strong, it mounts heavy lenses easily. It is expensive, especially new, but worth it.
Excerpt: I used this teleconverter with my Olympus 50-200 SWD telephoto lens, and got some fantastic results. The teleconverter is small and neat, and with it, my telephoto lens becomes a 70-280mm telephoto, with a loss of only 1 f-stop of light. This makes for a pretty powerful and pretty fast telephoto combination. The teleconverter is weather sealed, as is the the camera (OM-D E-M1) and the lens, so it is a great combination for wildlife photography.
Pros: Durable, Easy to Use, Improves Function, Lightweight
Summary: I'm using this 1.4x tele converter with the Zuiko Digital 70-300mm lens to extend the range without as much light loss as the 2x tele converter would bring. I'm been using it for birding and flower close-ups where you're not allowed off the trail and it works quite well. I did a side by side test with and without the tele converter and the image quality nets out about the same after doing a crop to equivalent field of view because of the ISO boost needed to keep the...
Summary: I got this to give my Zuiko 50-200mm zoom a bit more reach. With the EC14, the long end is 283mm (566mm effective focal length). I've used this combination on an Oly E-30 and an OM-D E-M1. When I have it mounted on the E-M1, I connect my sling at the lens' tripod collar. It balances nicely and takes any strain off the m43 adapter. It also alleviates the 50-200mm's tendency to creep. I have not noticed any real degradation in image quality with the adapter attached.
Summary: I do a lot of animal life pictures with my Olympus cameras, and needed some extra gain in distance for my Sigma Big Ma(50-500 mm) and this one gets me 708mm with almost no lossof quality!!(The EC20 works with some lenses but not too good with Big Ma!!)I love how the EC 14 gets me closer with quality!!
Summary: I bought this Teleconverter to shoot nature shots at Florida's wetlands using my Zuiko 50-200 SWD lens and my Zuiko 70-300 lens. The Teleconverter focuses super fast with the 50-200 SWD lens, and it focuses just fine with the 70-300 lens. The quality of the shots are not degraded in any noticeable way when using the Teleconverter in moderate to bright light conditions. I would definitely recommend this product to any one needing a little more reach.
Summary: I got that high grade teleconverter to use it with my 70-300mm zoom lens, I'm more than happy with the results. At 420mm, equivalent to 840mm in 35mm cameras, I still get sharp and crispy pictures even in macro mode. I strongly recommend it as a sure value for all serious photgraphers.
Summary: I purchased the EC-14 early this year after acquiring seventeen of the Zuiko lenses for the four thirds system. I have used this lens with the 18-180, 70-300, 50-200, 35-100 and 150 millimeter lenses and have been very pleased with the results. You will loose a stop of light, but when dealing with lenses as bright as f/2, that is a small price to pay to get closer to your subject.
