Summary: Awesome lens! Honestly it is exactly what I wanted! Color clarity is perfect and image is clear! Although would highly recommend getting a UV lens filter just in case to protect lens and help some with light. Although is a little slow to focus in low lit places, outside when the sun is out, the lens works amazingly well! The auto focus could take some getting used to but with a little practice shots you could get some amazing photographs out of it!
Summary: Great bang for your buck..sure it not 1.8 or 1.4 but in good light it will take excellent photos my opinion. Maybe not quite as nice as my Nikon D7100 with the 105mm macro, but for price very good. Great lens to start you out with to see if macro is for you, seems to hold near it's used selling price after several years in it's life also.
Summary: I recomend this product to those who works in conservation and archaeology, specifically in documentation of cultural heritage. Fascinating details and extremely close up can support better than ever, the way you explain and show artifacts.
absolute stunning results and good handeling, super fine macros

Excerpt: Usual high quality product from Olympus. Purchased to use with adapter on Micr0-four-thirds OM-D EM-5. Already had adapter. Getting it figured out. Does seem to have trouble focusing in a low light situation, but may be my problem. Olympus says it may need manual focusing in some situations. Manual focusing has always been problematic for me.
Pros: Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Rugged, Strong Construction
