Summary: I bought this 35mm Olympus digital macro lens because I wanted to do some macro photography, not just "close-up" photography. This lens is awesome! It is very fast and is easy to use with my Olympus camera. I am not a professional but with this lens I am able to get professional results.
Not perfect but for the price, this little beauty cannot be faulted.

Summary: Incredibly lightweight lens that does exactly what it says on the tin. Reports of "slow AF" performance refer to those occasions when the lens is forced to "hunt" and tracks the entire (very extensive) focussing range, which can take a few seconds, but when correcting or making minor adjustments to focus on a subject it is snappy and accurate.
Summary: I use this prime along with the standard 14-45mm and 40-150mm and I have to say I love this creature! The image quality, sharpness and depth of field is very good. Its an affordable genuine piece of lens-mastery. I use it for macro and for portrait photography. Highly recommended!
Olympus 35mm f/3.5 Zuiko Digital Macro review by Yemm66

Summary: This is the more cost effective Olympus macro lens available for the four thirds system. It is astonishingly sharp with outstanding color reproduction. I can't emphasize enough how wonderful the color is from this lens. Images are very sharp with little, if any, distortion, pincushion, or chromatic aberration. The only knock I can give this lens is it's focus hunting. It can be quite annoying, but is only a problem in macro mode.
Pros: Clarity, color reproduction, Light Weight, Sharpness

Summary: I am a weaver and need sharp closeups of fabric, fiber and yarn. Just got this new lens, but the first photo not only shows the rug pile, but every speck of dirt on it. Went right for the vacuum cleaner.Looking forward to lots of clear photos.[...
