Bright photos, low distrotion, flat images.

Summary: This lens is INCREDIBLE. I've owned one for years, this is replacing a stolen one. The glass quality is high grade, the photos are bright and sharp, it works well in low light AND DISTORTION, is less then the Oly 9-18 or 7-14 in the 11-14mm range. It is even better then my 14-54 High grade in the 14-22 mm range. It is nearly as bright as the Oly ZD 50 mm macro, the best Macro Olympus makes.
Summary: I am very happy because I've bought this lens. It makes good fotos if compare with kit lens. Its wide zoom lens is really attractive. I'm having the high image quality with high-resolution and good contrast.
Fantastico obiettivo da utilizzare come fisso sulle nostre digital cameras.

Summary: Scrivo queste righe per i lettori italiani e per quelli che capiscono la nostra lingua. Olympus per me significa fotografia.
Excerpt: This is a very nice high-grade lens, albeit somewhat overlooked after the introduction of the 12-60mm high-grade lens. It is fast and has little distortion. I picked up a used copy to use with the scuba kit, but I also use it on hikes in the mountains in and around Tahoe.
Pros: Consistent Output, Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Lightweight, Rugged, Strong Construction
Summary: I recently bought this lens on Ebey. I look forward to when I deliver the mail the lens. Choose between 12-60 and 11-22, focused on the 11-22. reviews of my friends are very good, I'm going to shoot landscapes. My camera Olympus C-5060, E-510, E-3. The camera Olympus E-3 I also bought at Ebey. Photos of these cameras and lenses Olympus make great, Natural colors. For this I love Olympus!
Excerpt: Going through the reviews of this lens, I noticed that no one has reviewed this lens in over four years.

This very fine high grade lens is frequently overlooked--the introduction of the Zuiko 12-60mm a few years ago rendered the 11-22mm a little hard to justify.

I picked up a used copy of this lens from Adorma recently and I can say that this lens is a very fine lens, as are all the high grade lenses from Olympus.
Pros: Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Rugged
Excerpt: This lens is a scene photographer's dream! A near ultra-wide to near standard field of view lens in one weather resistant relatively fast package. I'm amazed at the sharpness of small distant objects and lack of all the well known distortions in this lens. I use it with an E-5 body and I love how they work together. No other manufacturer offers an equivalent set of specs believe me I researched for months.
Pros: Durable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Low distortion, Rugged, Strong Construction, Very useful focal length
Summary: I had this lens in my old office for 4 years. now i finally bought it for myself and here's my review (since i'm not a native english speaker i apologize in advance for my mistakes). this lens is fast, weather sealed, sharper then the 14-54 and IMO sharp as the 50mm f2. if you're photographing architecture, i'll suggest you will have it in your camera bag. photographing architecture you need to choose from four Olympus lenses.
