Summary: I love this lens. It took a while to get here but other than that, no complaints. Maybe a bit unhappy about the fact that it didn't have a cap for the back of the lens. But it was undamaged and I happened to have one on an old lens that I wasn't using. Just stole it off that one. Lens is awesome! Soft focus. Take that as you will. Love the amount of control I have within the lens itself. Worth the money!
Summary: a great lens. I love it. It takes beautiful photos and is great for film. Gives you that yummy blurry background. Tip:. Get an nd filter to cut the light down so you can use it in bright conditions wide open
Great lens, Great picture quality, Recommend for everyone.

Summary: The lens is great for those pictures that you'd like to take at the same level, field of view as the eye. Depth of field give a nice soft background for those portraits and its small enough to carry in almost any bag and definitely to have as an extra in every camera bag.
The product is good, this specimen was dirty as expected with the price.

Summary: This lens was my "project lens". I purchased it solely for the purpose of dismantling it, cleaning it and then reassembling it again. It has already proven its value being at very good condition and at the same time, providing a valuable comparison and verification as a dirty lens. The lens itself has a fantastic tactile feedback with the focus ring and it performs very well with the M4/3 camera.
Summary: Incredibly 'filmic' look for DSLR/Mirroless shooting of serious video. If you are thinking about a newer 50mm 1.4 or 1.8, forget it. why buy a plastic Autofocus lens when you are joust going to turn it off to shoot anyway? These Nikkor lenses (AI or AIs) are like jewels. Blow the extra 20 bucks and buy one described as 'mint'. You will spend the best 150 bucks you can spend on a lens. Canon, Sony, Panasonic??? No problem.
