Summary: This seems to be the comparable "telephoto" lens to the nikon 55-200mm lens for the entry level dslr cameras. the 30-110mm lens is about the same comparable zoom that you would get out of a point and shoot digital zoom camera but this is all optical which is much clearer.
Summary: It's OK and at mid zoom, it is very good but at full zoom I find it soft. It was the same with the 10-100 and I am disappointed Nikon do not produce a better telephoto zoom for the 1 series cameras. I have read the 70-300 is a very good lens but at over £600, not under consideration.
3 and half stars. Efficient, small and affordable.

Summary: Maximum zoom with no tripod makes clear pictures. Very good for the price. I will be careful with it because it seems a little fragile, you can feel all the parts moving inside when you turn the ring to use it. Works like advertised. Similar lens can cost 5 times more.
Summary: Item was as described and delivered in good time, only complaint it came wrapped in bubble wrap in a plastic post office envelope. There was no box, registration card and serial number and no instructions. As it was a birthday present, this presentation made it look second hand.
