Nikkor AF-S 50mm f/1.8 G (CX) - Review / Test Report

photozone.de
1 April 2012
  • Conclusion: As can be expected from a lens designed for a much larger sensor, distortion and vignetting are no issues at all. CAs are a bit on the high side, but can easily be taken care of in post processing. The build quality of the lens is good and in line with other Nikon lenses in this segment.

Nikkor AF-S 50mm f/1.8 G (FX) - Review / Test Report

photozone.de
1 April 2012
  • Conclusion: Typical for a fast prime there is some vignetting wide open as well as bokeh fringing. CAs and distortion are moderate. The bokeh quality is not stellar, but quite good for this lens class. The build quality is good and in line with other Nikon lenses in this segment.
