Excerpt: There's just something about this lens I really like. The best way I can put it is that it's "enough" for many types of photography. Compared to the pricey Nikon f/2.8 pro lenses, all of which I've owned or used, it's sharp enough, focuses quickly enough, and is much smaller and lighter.
Pros: Consistent Output, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Lightweight
Excerpt: I have only used this lens for a few weeks but so far I love it. I did lots of research before making the purchase and it works as reviewed. I took it to a Capital Hill Rally recently and I am really happy with the photographs that it helped me capture, both distance and close up.
Pros: Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Rugged, Strong Construction
Excerpt: I got this instead of the more expensive version and althought I've only used it a few weeks its perfect on my D7000. I also like the fact I can keep it when I make the jump to FX body someday. I have used it for landscape work, studio work and doing some product macro work and its been a champ.
Pros: Consistent Output, Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Lightweight, Nice Bokeh, Rugged
Excerpt: great for out door functions - parties or weddings not so great for low light indoor settings love to be able to quickly go from wide angle to zoom. perfect for me and my family type photo shoots.
Pros: Consistent Output, Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Lightweight
Excerpt: I got this as a upgraded package deal with my D7000 several years ago and have since used it extensively. It has a good range, great sharpness and color. While it is not technically the 'best' lens in my quiver, it is the one that has been used for most of my favorite pictures, so I do consider it...
Pros: Consistent Output, Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Strong Construction
Excerpt: Well built solid performer. Tack sharp focusing and the results have been wonderful. Given the high price of most FX format lenses the price for this lens is fairly easy on the wallet. You won't regret adding this lens to your camera bag.
Pros: Consistent Output, Durable, Easily Interchangeable, Fast / accurate auto-focus, Lightweight, Strong Construction
Excerpt: This seems to be the perfect lens for a full-frame Nikon, especially in the D600-D700 range. I bought it for a D750 after finding the 24-120 to be rather bulky. For most of my subjects - urban and coastal landscapes and street photography - a moderate wide to minimal tele is perfect anyhow.
Pros: Balances Will With D750, Easily Interchangeable, Lightweight, Seems well made
