Excerpt: I originally purchased this lens for my Nikon D800E some time ago as a "walk-around" lens, but honestly rarely used it, opting instead for my24-70mm f/2.8 and 70-200mm f/2.8. However, recently I decided to give it a real workout during a tour of NYC, and boy was I surprised.
Excerpt: I am an enthusiast and not a pro. I enjoy taking photos of benign looking things and hopefully present them in ways which might aid others like me to look at things differently. This lens has become my daily glass attached to my camera.
Excerpt: I shoot for skiing, snowboarding and mountaineering periodicals and winter sports production companies. My focus is on big mountain, backcountry and extreme sports. Excerpt: Sometimes you win and sometimes you don't. I had purchased this lens sometime ago and then last fall when Nikon introduced the 24-70 f/2.8 with VR I just knew it had to be better. Excerpt: I'm an industrial photographer. This lens is my go to lens. It's crystal clear and handles all the adverse lighting conditions I run into. I shoot under sodium vapor, mercury vapor, fluorescent light source among others and this lens captures all the detail and then some. Well worth the $.

There are some lenses out there that have grown in the marketplace, but when reading reviews there wasn't the consistency that Nikon provides and what I know them to...
Excerpt: I wanted to upgrade to a fixed aperture zoom on my D750. I had the 24-85mm f3.5-4.5 which in its own right is a fantastic light-weight lens. The 24-70 f2.8 was a little short as an every day lens for me and not necessarily affordable. The 24-120 f4 on the other hand was and is perfect - for me.
Excerpt: I have many expensive lenses in my bag but this lens rarely leaves my camera. I am constantly amazed at the quality of images that come from this lens. Proves that a quality build and optics are present in this product.
