My Camera Will Not Work With This
Tara Kerr, Amazon
20 August 2013
Summary: Got it, and it seemed to work fine with my Nikon D60. However, right as the return window expired (of course), it stopped working. My camera now is totally unresponsive when this lens is attached. The button simply won't do anything. I didn't change any settings and nothing happened to my camera to cause this. It simply just stopped working.
Summary: We bought this as a replacement for the original lens that came with the camera, which lasted for four years. This lens didn't even last six months when a small piece inside the lens came loose and turned sideways. Doesn't matter if it does turn sideways, a lens should last longer than six months. I still have lenses for a Canon AE-1 that were purchased in the 80's that are in perfect condition. What's up with this product?
Summary: I purchased and returned this item the minute it arrived. The seller was on the phone, when I did so. He promised to make things right by offering me a $10.00 to $20.00 item or refund for my troubles by wanting to give me filters, headphones, or a battery. But he claimed he felt sorry and wanted to make things right. So, I said,I know what you want you want me to remove my product review. I stressed that I am a student and had an assignment due.
Summary: I ordered the Nikon 18-55 lense for my D70 that the original lens failed after 5 years or so. Well I bought this in May and in September the auto-focus failed on this one. It wouldn't even focus manually as the focus ring was stuck. No problem...Nikon warrenty is 1 year per the website, so I send it off to Nikon and get it back 2 weeks later with a letter saying it's a Non-US lens. I called to get some clarity from them.
