As complete a lens as you can get

  • Excerpt: I have had this lens for several years and use it almost exclusively, forgoing most of my fixed length lenses except for "super telephoto". The lens is fast, versatile and provides clear sharp images, while zooming quickly and steadily. I seldom use the autofocus, so I can't really comment on that, but otherwise I would recommend this lens for almost any use short of full professional.

Like Well Enough to Order Two

Raptor in Paradise, B&H Photo
10 April 2014
  • Excerpt: This lens was originally a gift coupled with the Nikon D90 camera from my boyfriend. After using it for almost 2 years, the lens unexplainably fell off the body, hitting the steel deck of a ship. Horrified, I put the lens back together and figured from then on, it was a great paperweight. Miraculously, I was still able to shoot with this lens for another year, but figured my luck would eventually run out.

  • Excerpt: A little heavier than I'd like, weight. Is no consequence as it's better then always carrying extra lenses.

Great lens

17 March 2014
  • Excerpt: I have been watching the price on the 18-200 lens from Nikon for quite some time. Recently due to the price drop, I picked up the lens. I'm very pleased with my purchase so far. I am by no means a professional photographer though I am hoping to become more acquainted with my equipment. I own the 18-55 and 55-300 lens and switching between the 2 during children's plays and family functions was very tedious. The new lens also gives me flexibility for when I am traveling.
