Summary: I purchased this lens a few years back. This became my main go to lens. Within about 8-10 months the auto focus began to malfunction. It wasn't tight, seemed loose and grinding. Took it in for cleaning and possible repair, but nothing was found wrong with it.

Summary: The lens started creeping within a few weeks of purchase ,I didnt worry about it too much at the time ...Nikon...A fine reputable company will be able to repair this lens when I return home to Australia,OK here goes nothing ,I am about to return the lens to the store ...wish me luck....!!!!!!
