What a pleasant little surprise

Summary: I do a lot of macro photography, not bugs or snowflakes, but what the old folk would call "copy work". I am documenting family memorabilia which includes medals, trinkets and many many photographs and documents. I need to be mobile and I need a lens that fits on a Dx D7200 body.
Excerpt: Despite a disappointment with the nomenclature on the lens, I'm giving it 5 stars because this lens is amazing as long as you know what you're getting. My disappointment with this lens was my own fault.
Works great for slide and negative digital conversion

Excerpt: Bought this lens together with the Nikon ES-1 to copy 35mm slides and negatives. I have found this to be a much better solution than scanning. Woks well for traditional macro photography as well, though to get 1: 1 need to get very close to your subject.
Excerpt: Just got the lens a couple of weeks ago but the initial shots have been awesome. Photographed some flowers with bees handheld. Veins in the bee's wings were clearly visible as were the pollen sacks on their legs.
